One of the greatest pleasures in making this website has been my ability to decorate its pages with pictures from the series. I did not, however, make these myself. I got them from other fan sites that archive large numbers of pictures, usually taken from many of the scenes in each episode. Photo archives are a pleasure to peruse. While there are still certain specific scenes from which pictures don't seem available, as a general rule there is no problem in finding good-quality pictorial quotations that can appositely illustrate the points I am trying to make, or short sequences that will remind people of scenes that I quote in my own stories. It has been possible to do this because of the kindness of those who have made these pictures from the recorded episodes, posted them on their websites, and given me permission to copy them here.

As a general rule, the people who own these sites and/or made these pictures are very generous with their work. They are happy to have them downloaded to your computer and stored for your own pleasure. But they do ask that you get their permission before putting any of them up on your own website. This isn't hard to do. All you have to do is e-mail them and ask. So please do. And please don't copy any of their pictures off my site: get their permission, and give them the credit they deserve. As a general rule, all they ask is for you to cite their sources and link back to them.

Episode Archives

The majority of the pictures are Nancy A. Taylor's; but a lot of the Season I and III pictures are from Linda Sriro, and some Season III pictures are from Mel Moser.
This is the most important source of Forever Knight photos. It is not that it necessarily has more than other sites. Rather, it has more variety. Most major scenes have one or more pictures, and there are a lot of individual snaps covering incidentals. Most things you remember seeing are here somewhere, including the stock location and skyline shots.
All episodes are represented, though not all equally. As a general rule, the ones with fewest pictures tend to be the ones least liked by fans; but, of course, opinions on this can vary enormously. Most of the regular cast from all three seasons are well represented, and there are a number of pictures of the recurring support characters. However, the selection of pictures of guest cast is highly variable: some are well represented, others not at all.
The pictures are divided by season, and then listed in order, each having its own set of webpages showing thumbnails of the available pictures. The quality is variable; but most episodes have very nice clear pictures indeed.

Forever Knight: Knight Vision

This is Kristin Harris's FK website. There is more here than just the photo archives; but they certainly comprise a significant part of the whole.
Another very large collection, covering all three seasons and all the episodes. It is less complete than the Episode Archives, however, since the main focus is clearly on Nick. Although there are many pictures of Natalie, LaCroix, Janette, and Schanke (usually with Nick), there are fewer of the characters from Season III or the police captains, except in group shots. Noticeably missing are the "miscellaneous assorted" category: scenic views, full shots of interiors, pictures of props, and the like. On the other hand, there are numerous long sequences (usually of Nick kissing or biting someone), presumably intended for animation into mini-filmclips.
The quality is very high; but the JPEG files are commensurately large. Again, the archives are organized by season, and then by episode in order, with thumbnails.

The Women of Forever Knight

A site devoted to the women who appeared in Forever Knight - both the characters and the actresses who played them. There are, therefore, not only photos from the show, but also actor biographies and shots from other shows and films in which they have appeared. The pictures are organized first by character/actress; then, in a sidebar, organized by source or, for Forever Knight by season; then, within the season, they are organized by episode with thumbnails. Not all seasons or episodes are represented.
This is a very tightly focused site. As such, it has no general "miscellaneous" pictures at all. It does, on the other hand, bring together numerous shots of characters who tend to be underrepresented elsewhere.
